Microsoft Sync Training at Gloff Ford

The other day, I received a call from a man on vacation. He was hundreds of miles away from his hometown dealer and was having “trouble” with his Sync. He was lost, and was trying to get turn-by-turn directions sent to his Ford Fusion.

“Is there a Sync Expert around here?” he said, as he walked through the front door of the dealership. “My car won’t connect,” he said, frustrated.

“You’re lookin’ at him,” I replied…”How can we help you?”

After a short conversation and explanation of the Sync system, it was clear his phone service was weak and he needed to get a stronger signal in order to complete the request for directions. If only he knew how Sync worked with his phone service, he would have known to keep driving until he had better reception…saving time and frustration.

We find many people in the same situation…unsure of the technology under the hood and behind the dashboard of their vehicles. Too many dealers do not take the time to setup the customer’s Sync account on Syncmyride.com…setting the customer on the wrong track from the get go.
